Enjoy Yoga, Explore Italy

Lake Como

For centuries royals, titled aristocrats and wealthy milanese families have chosen lake Como in search of tranquility, un-matched beauty and unspoiled nature. Nestled between crisp snow-capped alpine peaks, lake Como is a haven of small cobbled stoned towns, full of great restaurants and cozy hotels, just 1 hour away from Milan and 35 km from the international airport of Malpensa.

Lake Como is the idyll destination where to take some time for yourself, enjoy balancing and empowering daily yoga sessions, evening meditations, while enjoying the lake view and delicious Italian healthy food.

Set on the beautiful shores of Lake Como, in Moltrasio, the Grand Hotel Imperiale, a 4 star property, composed by different buildings including an Art Nouveua villa from the 1920s.

It features a summer outdoor pool, elegant restaurant Imperialino with amazing lake view, a spa center with small indoor pool with hydro-massage, a fitness center and Turkish bath. We suggest you try the Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage.

Your accommodation is in single or double room. Rooms come equipped with LCD satellite TV, internet access, and air conditioning. Each room offers views of the lake, garden, or Mount Bisbino. Some are in the main buildings, other are in the hotel’s newer, Rationalist-style wing.

It is impossible to describe Florence, the city where everything is expressed at maximum power: art, culture, fashion, cuisine, nature. Florence is a large open-air museum, surrounded by beautiful hills, where an innate vocation for cooking and wine is combined with the architectural and natural beauties.

It is impossible to describe the thrill of those walking in the city, at the end of a road, look up and find themselves in front of a beautiful building or a breathtaking square. Emotion that is repeated many times, if the city in which you are walking is Florence.

The hotel Villa Olmi opens its doors to all those guests who wish to spend a holiday in the countryside, a few steps from one of the most scenic cities in the world.

Villa Olmi Florence is the perfect compromise between city and countryside: a location set among centuries-old trees and Italian gardens where you can breathe a peace of the past and yet allows you to fully enjoy the endless stimuli that the city center offers.

Framed by a centuries-old park, in a context where you can breathe the magic of the countryside while still in the city, Villa Olmi Florence is the right starting point for a holiday in Tuscany.

Born under the Aquarius sign, Paola is an enthusiastic, cheerful and very talented soul. Her contagious smile and energetic aura granted her a special nickname “La Luminosa” and she really glows!

Her life into yoga started almost 20 years ago: from the very first lesson she immediately felt the the connection between the body and the mind, that through the asana and breathing (pranayama), released the mind from oppressive thoughts. Yoga is part of Paola’s life, part of her being and she believe that her soul’s mission is to share yoga’s benefits with everyone who is interested in getting close to this life changing practise.

Olga started practicing yoga 3 years ago after a professional set back and she has been on the mat ever since. She will show adapted asanas to the ones proposed from Paola for beginners yogis. Olga who is fluent in English, French and Spanish will help all participants to feel at home and get the best of their time in Lake Como.

Just random facts about Olga: passionate for yoga pants, beginner student of Ayurveda and Buddhism Olga is deeply fascinated by the miraculous mechanic of body-mind and soul. Olga loves traveling and watching old movies.

Founder of Amore Escapes

My name is Olga Gazzola and I’m the founder of Amore Escapes.

After 20 years in the Luxury Hotel business and many travels around the globe I thought it was time for a new journey and I began practicing yoga and I have been on the mat ever since. Yoga is teaching me how to pause, to breath and connect with my true self, discovering each practice more about the body and mind, about being present in the moment. It’s an ongoing journey that I share with you through Amorescapes. I create journeys to inspire other travellers in their quest of finding joy, balance and well-being while discovering the world with us!
